Assign a Provider to a Visit Date

Assign Providers / Surgeons

RxPhoto allows users to assign a provider / surgeon to an appointment date, both on the RxPhoto Website and on the RxPhoto Mobile App on the device (iPhone / iPad). The Client List is filterable by Provider / Surgeon name on both the RxPhoto Website and Mobile App on the Device (iPhone / iPad).

Configure Providers / Surgeons

Note: You must have Administrator permissions or higher to configure users.


  1. Log in to the RxPhoto Website.

  2. Navigate to Administration > Team Management.


  1. Click on the Provider / Surgeon who should be available for assignment.

  2. Click to toggle the “Provider / Surgeon” field to the on position.

  3. Click Save to save the change.



  1. Repeat steps 1-5 for all Providers / Surgeons that should be available for assignment.


Assign a Provider / Surgeon to a Visit Date on the RxPhoto Website


  1. Log in to the RxPhoto Website.

  2. Click on the appropriate client name to open their record.



  1. Find the appropriate visit date.

  2. Click on the “Select Provider / Surgeon” field to open the drop-down menu.

  3. Click on the appropriate Provider / Surgeon name to assign that person to the visit. You may use the Search bar to search for a Provider / Surgeon.



Filter the Client List by Provider / Surgeon Tag - RxPhoto Website

  1. Log in to the RxPhoto Website.

  2. Click Filters.



  1. Click Add next to the Provider / Surgeon line.

  2. Click to check the Provider(s) / Surgeon(s) assignments to be filtered. You may use the Search bar to search for a Provider / Surgeon.

Note: This filter has an AND relationship. Therefore, if more than one Provider / Surgeon is checked, the Client List displays clients that have at least one visit assigned to each of the Providers / Surgeons.

  1. Click ✓ Show Matching Clients. 



  1. The Client List now displays the clients with the checked Provider / Surgeon assignments.


Clear the Provider / Surgeon Filter

  1. Click Filters.



  1. Click X Clear.

  2. Click ✓ Show Matching Clients. 



  1. The Client List again displays all clients.


Assign a Provider / Surgeon to a Visit Date - Mobile App


  1. Log in to the RxPhoto Mobile App on the device (iPhone / iPad).

  2. Open the “Photos” section of the appropriate client’s record.



  1. Find the appropriate visit date.

  2. Press the head & shoulders with plus sign (+) next to the date.



  1. Press on the current assignment. May read “None.”



  1. Press on the appropriate Provider / Surgeon name to assign that person to the visit. You may use the Search bar to search for a Provider / Surgeon.

  2. Press Done.



Filter the Client List by Provider / Surgeon Tag - Mobile App

  1. Log in to the RxPhoto Mobile App on the device (iPhone / iPad).

  2. Press the “All Clients” down chevron.



  1. Press the”Provider / Surgeon” line.



  1. Press to select the appropriate Provider(s) / Surgeon(s). You may use the Search bar to search for a specific Provider / Surgeon.

Note: This filter has an AND relationship. Therefore, if more than one Provider / Surgeon is checked, the Client List displays clients that have at least one visit assigned to each of the Providers / Surgeons.

  1. Press Done.

  2. Press Apply.



  1. The Client List now displays the clients with the checked Provider / Surgeon assignments.



Clear the Provider / Surgeon Filter

  1. Press the Filtered Clients down chevron.



  1. Press Clear All Filters.

  2. Press Yes to confirm in the pop-up.

  3. Press Apply.



  1. The Client List again displays all clients.
