"No Photos Yet" vs. "Updated on..."

"No Photos Yet" vs. "Updated on..."

On the Capture Screen in a Client Record, you may see the phrase "No photos yet" underneath the body area thumbnail. All this means is that there are no photos currently "actively" stored (viewable) in that client's record under that particular body area. If you see a body area with a client photo instead of a thumbnail, you will see it say "Updated on..." underneath. This means that there is at least one "active" photo (viewable) stored in that client's record.

Where Does It Say "No Photos Yet" or "Updated on..."?

Underneath the body area thumbnail in a Client Record, you will notice that it either reads "No photos yet" or "Updated on..." The screenshot below illustrates where you will see these phrases:

To get to this screen:

  1. Press on the Client's name from the Client List to access the Client Record.
  2. Press on any body area on the left. In the screenshot above, "Head" was pressed.
  3. Underneath "Face - Frontal" it reads "Updated on 13 September, 2019." This means the last "Face - Frontal" photo of this client was taken on September 13th, 2019.
  4. Underneath "Tilted Head," on the other hand, it reads "No photos yet." This means there are no "Tilted Head" photos actively stored (viewable) for this client.

What Does "Actively Stored" Mean?

"Actively stored" means that there are photos stored under that particular body area that are viewable in the Client Record.

Why Would Photos NOT Be "Actively Stored"?

There are two scenarios in which photos would not be actively stored and viewable in the Client Record.

  1. No photos have been taken under that body area for the client yet. Hence, it will read "No photos yet" underneath the thumbnail.
  2. If photos have been taken under that body are for the client, but have since been archived. Because an archived photo is not viewable in the Client Record, this will also read "No photos yet" underneath the thumbnail. For instructions on how to restore archived photos, see "Restore Archived Photos."

Summary

In its essence, whether "No photos yet" or "Updated on..." is written underneath the body area thumbnail in a patient record is solely dependent on whether or not there are photos that have been taken, and if so, whether or not all the photos have been archived. Note that if some photos were archived and others remain under the same body area, it will still read "Updated on..." underneath the body area thumbnail.
