Select Default Zoom Option

Now RxPhoto allows you to select whether you'd like 1x or 2x zoom to be your default option when capturing photos of your clients. You may still change the zoom from 1x to 2x or vice versa directly on the ViewFinder when capturing your client photos.

RxPhoto suggests keeping 2x Default Zoom on for the iPhone, and off for the iPad for highest quality photos.




Setting Up Default Zoom Options

You may set your preferred default zoom option in the Setting section.

1. Press on the gear icon on the top left corner of the Client List Home Screen.


2. Toggle the 2x Zoom option to the "on" position for 2x zoom, or the "off" position for 1x zoom, then press "Done" on the top left.


If 2x Zoom is in the On Position

If the 2x zoom option is in the on position in settings, the ViewFinder will automatically set the device to 2x zoom on all on-screen guides.



If 2x Zoom is in the Off Position

If the 2x zoom option is in the on position in settings, the ViewFinder will automatically set the device to 1x zoom on all on-screen guides.


Switch Between 1x and 2x Zoom on the ViewFinder

To switch between 1x and 2x zoom from the ViewFinder when capturing photos of the client, simply press the yellow "1x" or "2x" button next to the Capture Button.
