Managing RxGallery

Introduction


RxGallery is a WordPress plugin that practice may use to automatically add their RxPhoto Before & After Galleries directly into their website. It is also available as a standalone product for practices using RxPhoto. Galleries will be set up by our expert team with your practice's logo and colors to keep your branding consistent.

RxGallery is offered with the following packages:
  1. RxMarketing Advanced (with website)
  2. RxMarkering Complete (with website)
  3. RxPhoto Advanced with AestheticNow (without website)
  4. RxPhoto Advanced with PatientNow (without website)

This article will review how to manage your RxGallery from directly within the RxPhoto Website. As you work through this article, images may be expanded by clicking the image you'd like to view.

Gallery Group Settings

The Gallery Group defines the high level sections within the gallery section of the website. The name and thumbnail image of each gallery section is pulled from the RxPhoto Gallery Group settings.



  1. Log in to the RxPhoto Website.

  2. Navigate to Galleries from the top menu.




  1. Click on the “...” next to the appropriate Gallery Group.

  2. Click Gallery Group Settings.


  1. Type the desired name of the Gallery Group in the text box labeled “Group Name.” RxPhoto allows up to 50 characters.

  2. Click Save to save changes.


  1. Follow steps 1-4 above (see Edit the Gallery Group Name.)

  2. Click Edit.



  1. Click to select an image from the image library, or, click Upload Custom Photo to select an image from the computer.


  1. Click Save to save changes.



Gallery Settings

The Gallery defines all sections within a Gallery Group. Users may choose which Galleries to display on the website from their Gallery Settings on the RxPhoto Website. Additionally, Gallery Settings allows users to choose Gallery names,  thumbnail images, turn on an age warning message, watermarking settings, etc.



  1. Log in to the RxPhoto Website.

  2. Navigate to Galleries from the top menu.



  1. Click on the Gallery Group that holds the appropriate gallery.

  2. Click on the “...” next to the appropriate Gallery name.

  3. Type the name of the Gallery in the text box labeled “Gallery Title.” RxPhoto allows up to 50 characters.


  1. Click Save Changes to save all edits.


Follow steps 1-4 above. See Edit Gallery Name.


  1. Click Edit in the Gallery thumbnail field.

  2. Click to select an image from the image library, or, click Upload Custom Photo to select an image from the computer.

  3. Click Save Changes to save all edits.


Age Warning Message (Available for RxMarketing Packages only)

In gallery settings, an age warning message may be displayed on a per gallery basis. 

  1. Toggle the Age Warning Message toggle to the on position. 

  2. Click Save Changes to save all edits.


The age warning message reads, “CAUTION: This gallery may contain nudity. If you are not at least 18 years of age or are offended by such material, please click the CANCEL button now.”



Note: the age warning message will not be displayed again for a particular site visitor until the Cash Lifetime expires. See General Settings: Cache Lifetime for details.


Visible on Mobile App and / or Visible on Web App

Galleries may be visible on the 


  • Mobile App only: RxPhoto Mobile App on the Device (iPhone / iPad). 

  • Web App only: on the website using the RxPhoto Plugin.

  • Or, both.


Move the appropriate toggles to the on position to select where the Gallery should be displayed. In the screenshot below, the gallery will only be visible on the website:



Remember to click Save Changes to save all edits.


Watermarking

Images are automatically watermarked with the clinic logo. To change the logo, or to turn off watermarking:


  1. Log in to the RxPhoto Website.

  2. Navigate to Administration > Gallery Settings.



  1. Toggle “Watermarking is activel for gallery photos” to the off position to turn watermarking off.

  2. Click “Upload a new clinic logo” to change the watermarked logo.



Custom Watermark Settings

Custom images or text may be used for watermarking on a per Gallery basis. Custom watermarks may be useful for practices that have both medical and aesthetic services, and would like to use a different logo for each.


Upload a Custom Image Watermark

  1. Log in to the RxPhoto Website.

  2. Navigate to Galleries from the top menu.



  1. Click the Gallery Group that holds the appropriate Gallery.

  2. Click the “...” on the appropriate Gallery and click to select Custom Watermark Settings.



  1. In the popup, click the Upload Watermark radio button.

  2. Click Upload Image.



  1. Select the desired image from the computer.

  2. Click Preview to preview the watermark on an image if desired, or skip to the next step.

  3. Click Save to save changes.


Edit Custom Watermark Text

Custom text may also be used as a custom watermark. To use text, follow steps 1-4 above. See Upload a Custom Image Watermark.


  1. Click the Text radio button.

  2. Type in the custom text in the text box labeled “Watermark text.”

  3. From the dropdown menu, select the desired font.


  1. Select where the text should be placed on the image.


  1. To customize beyond the standard positions, use the “Nudge Watermark Position on the Photo” option.


  1. Click Preview to preview an image with the custom watermark if desired.

  1. Click Save to save changes.


Thumbnail Settings

Image thumbnails displayed on the website will be arranged in the same order they are arranged in the Gallery on the RxPhoto Website.


Rearrange Images


  1. Log in to the RxPhoto Website.

  2. Navigate to Galleries from the top menu.


  1. Click on the Gallery Group that holds the appropriate Gallery.

  2. Click on the Gallery name to open the gallery image thumbnails.



  1. Drag and drop images into the desired order.

  2. Refresh the website to view changes.


Image Details

Images may have image titles and descriptions attached to them. The title and a preview of the description is viewable from the Gallery thumbnails on the website. The title and full description is displayed by clicking View Full Details.



Edit Image Title and Description


  1. Log in to the RxPhoto Website.

  2. Navigate to Galleries from the top menu.



  1. Click on the Gallery Group that holds the appropriate Gallery.

  2. Click on the appropriate Gallery name.

  3. Click on the appropriate image.

  4. Type the desired title and/or description in the appropriate text boxes.

  5. Click Save to save changes.


Note that the description has basic word processing tools that are available for formatting purposes.
